How to Connect PC to TV

Connecting your PC to a TV lets you view content on a larger screen. You can make this connection in several ways; HDMI and VGA are the most common.

Using HDMI

HDMI is the most convenient way to connect a PC to a TV. A single HDMI cable transmits both high-definition video and audio.

The HDMI port on the PC and the HDMI port on your TV are identical. Use a male-to-male HDMI cable, which has the same connector on both ends.

Plug the cable into your PC and into one of the HDMI ports on your TV. Switch on the PC and the TV, and set the TV to the correct HDMI input. The PC should configure the display automatically. If it does not, please contact our support team.

Using VGA

VGA transmits video only, so you also need a 3.5 mm audio cable to connect the audio out socket of your PC to the audio in port of your TV or to external speakers.

The VGA port on the PC and the VGA port on your TV are identical. Use a male-to-male VGA cable, which has the same connector on both ends.

Plug the VGA cable into your PC and into one of the VGA ports on your TV. Switch on the PC and the TV, and set the TV to the correct VGA input. The PC should configure the display automatically. If it does not, please contact our support team.
