What is a small form factor case for ATX?
An ATX case is the standard tower housing for full-size desktop motherboards. A small form factor (SFF) case is a smaller enclosure that accepts compact boards, usually Mini-ITX or Micro-ATX, and takes up less desk space. ATX itself is the motherboard standard, and an SFF build uses smaller boards in a smaller chassis, so the two are not interchangeable without a case that supports the specific board size.
Thinvent does not sell a separate ATX or SFF tower case. Thinvent supplies complete compact systems in which the chassis, board, power supply and cooling are designed together. This approach avoids the fit and cooling trade-offs that come with a bare SFF case.
